As a kid, I spent a lot of time on the bench during basketball games. What I remember from youth sports is not the games, but the humor of the disorganization, and playing with friends on the empty courts. The boredom of waiting for the next game of the tournament, just to daydream the whole time, trying to act like I cared to my coach.
